 Delaney Vineyards
Grapevine, TX
Delaney Vineyards conveys a feeling of the Old World with its Bordeaux-style chateau elegantly decorated with hand painted murals, forged iron and aged wood.
Jerry Delaney is a traditionalist when it comes to winemaking. Producing one of the only Champagnes in Texas, Delaney utilizes the "Methode Champenoise Brut" in its production. This method involves fermentation of the grapes in the same bottle for two years as well as hand turning of the bottle (no machinery is used in our process) at the end of fermentation. This Texas Champagne can be served with any dinner course and is a perfect holiday or hostess gift to create a festive ambiance or kick off a celebration. Winner of 8 International Medals.
The heart of the winery is a room located within the Chateau, aptly named the "Grand Barrel Room," covering 5,200-square feet with a variety of lighting to set the right mood for any occasion. The interior brick walls of the room are lined with oak barrels, while the 40-foot vaulted ceiling adds to the Old World atmosphere of this unique setting. An Italian granite tasting bar highlights the richness of this beautifully decorated room.
